About the event
Jazz at The '47 Club invites you to step back into the golden glow of early jazz for a special night of live music, featuring Melbourne jazz singer and multi-instrumentalist Susy Hull with her band, The Shy Guys.
For many in the Northern Rivers, this will be a first chance to hear Susy live, but she arrives with a strong reputation on the Melbourne jazz scene. Susy has performed at renowned venues including Paris Cat Jazz Club, where her “Susy Hull Sings Gershwin” show celebrated the music of George and Ira Gershwin and showcased her talents not only as a vocalist, but also as a multi-instrumentalist on saxophone, flute, piano and washboard. The show sold out on its first outing at Paris Cat and has gone on to be booked for other jazz audiences, including Ballarat Jazz Club and the Eltham Jazz Food and Wine Festival.
